When you open up vent
1.create a User name

2.Where it says 'server'hit the arrow pointing right and
create a new server name it HOG

3.put this in the 'HOSTNAME OR IP'. (voice-IL1.branzone.com)
4.Port number (3943)
5. hit OK

6.Make sure HOG is selected under the server
7.hit connect

8.go to setup and select PTT(Push to talk)

I first started playing the BF games with the original 1942 when it came out and have bought most of the add-ons since. I stopped playing a few years ago and decided to give it another try recently. By chance I found HOG and liked the concept of mature players without a bunch of crap. I'm pretty rusty in my gameplay but hopefully it will come back to me. If not for high skill, I think I at least qualify on age - I'm 49.

Generally I play between 4:30 and 6:00 pm eastern. I noticed the comments to use ventro to meet the group - so i will now that i have it up and running. I play many games: Left 4 Dead, NFS UNDERCOVER, BF2142, BF2, COD4, and the new Dawn of war 2. I have a good computer running 8G of DDR 3 and running the new EVGA GeForce GTX 260.

I play a lot, whenever I have time, I have night school, but when I get back I play and in the morning before school I play. I am on a lot.

well, I met Bison and Link last night/ this morning lol we were playing "No Mercy" and were getting our asses kicked on the last part. Anyways :) I had a great time and they were cool as hell.

I Join only mature hardcore gaming clans/communities/families. People that like to have fun and will be around. Also have to be organized. Which all of this is. So yeah that is why I'd like to join.

I have BF2 (Don't play it as much, I guess I could get back into it playing with you peeps) And L4D, I have command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour, Counter Strike 1.6, Half-Life, I play some MMORPG Games. I have a ton of other games, I just don't play them.

I have been looking for a mature site and happened upon HOG. I find the level of play and the team work amoungst HOG clan members pretty good. I rather play in a team mode than as a lone wolf and I also enjoy being a squad leader as well. Not much into commander, rather fight!

Game Style: I run Support when MEC and Medic when USMC, Sniper if I'm on a side that is dominating. I always join or create a squad. As squad leader I consider my #1 function to be the best spawn point on the map. If you die near me while I am support and there is a medic kit lying around, I will grab it and revive you. I avoid spawncamping, unless MMS is on the server(HA). I play for kills, not flags. If the teams are unbalanced I will switch to the weaker team. I get on Vent every time I am in the SH now, however I am not a big talker.

Playing Times: I try to play at least five days per week (I sometimes pull all nighters on weekends). I am married and I have a daughter so some weeks I might end up playing less than others, but I am usually pretty reliable. Why I would like to join HOG: I've been playing in your 24/7 Muttrah server for the last few weeks and I have had the opporunity to interact with many of you during this period. I like what I have seen in that you have server rules and are not afraid to follow them or carry them out. I appreciate good server management as it keeps the game fair and enjoyable for all! I also appreciate how your clan members try to persuade others to employ the use of teamwork. This is not something I have run across while playing in other clan-moderated PR servers...sadly. Lastly, you guys seem to play and work well together and I would very much like to be a part of that while playing PR. PR is a very vocal, mental game and I enjoy playing with people who know and appreciate those aspects of it. It's not always about shooting and killing...sometimes the best way to win an engagement is to stay two steps ahead of the enemy. Regard;ess of whether or not you decide to accept me into your clan I look forward to playing with you all again very soon. I'm a 34 year old student (don't ask) and play on HOG server pretty much daily, RL allowing.
I usually end up as SL or Medic and like to think i do a half decent job of both.
Perhaps one or two of you have grouped with me at some point and remember me.

I’m 24 years old, my in game nick is CaNNon_FoDD3r_PL. I was born and raised in Poland, since 3 years I’m living and working in a Dublin, Irealnd. I have spent lots of my in game time on HOG’s server, so u can say that most of my experience (and kills) comes from u guys. Some of u will know me from Karkand map witch was my first one on a HOG servers. From a few months I’ve started playing PR on a muttrah map as well.
On Karkand I’ve played most of my time with a medic kit and a little bit of support and sniper. When I’m on muttrah I usually play with inf or APC squad. I can’t fly huey neither cobra .I don’t think so that I’m going to learn it at all. I’m trying to play nearly every day around 20-24GMT time. Unfortunately sometimes I have got an issue called “my boss” (fiancé) moaning that I’m acting like a 24 year old school boy therefore I can’t stay for to long online:)

I have never been in a clan before, but playing with =Hog=Harley, and Zman, and 88th 1John316, has convinced me that it will add a new dimension to the game.

Me and my father whom some of you may know as Sgt.Strudel have been playing online for several years now, me personally 8 years ago playing the all the Half-Life mods like Axis & Allies and Team Fortress
I've been apart of the BF2 gaming community ever since 1942 and have all the the games and are active users on mainly BF2 and PR mod

Ive been playing in the HOG server for PR for about 6-8months now and i'm in VENT every time i play, i enjoy everyone in the clan and enjoy the great teamwork that every lets of ingame
Being a rebelious teenager i usualy get in 5-6 days of game time a week, I'm online 5-6 hours on saturday and sunday and try to fit in 1-2 hrs after schooland then theres the occasional snow day !!

and i belive i show a more matture attitude in the game
My only concern is being able to support the clan,if that means economical way i have little money income... and what i do have it is in cash form

I would like to be considered for membership to this fine clan. After getting to know a number of members both in-game and in Ventrilo, I would be delighted to wear the =HOG= tag with pride.

I have played PR since the .5 release and almost exclusively since .65 which saw some major improvements.

I joined =]H[= Hardcore a year ago but resigned (along with many other members), due to the poor and inconsistent leadership of the clan by someone well known to yourselves. 30 of us formed =S8= (Section 8 Crew) but things never really seemed to get off the ground. Their direction has fragmented into too many directions for a small clan: ARMA2, BFBC2 etc. and PR is just about the only FPS that I enjoy. I was a senior server admin for both of =S8= PR servers and have an excellent working knowledge of BF2CC.

I play about 30 to 40 hours of PR weekly, mostly on =HOG= Muttrah City server but occasionally on other (busy) servers for a change of scenery.

I always log into your Ventrilo Server which I believe is important for both in-game play and getting to know other players.

I am willing and able to regularly donate towards this clan's running costs.

I have been a vHc member on the PR server for 6 months now i thought il make a post and see if you guys would like another member added to your team. I have been playing battlefield for a very long time and pr in particularity has been my Fav so far, I think the HOG server is by far the most welcoming and friendly place to spend 6 hours gaming along side great players hog or none hog.

Iv been using ventrilo ever since i started playing on the hog server and its been a blast getting to know everyone. I currently live in england (London) and I'm a student in university of arts, i study game design and i enjoy it so far. I'm 21 years old and i work in a small office producing banners, advertisement and websites. The reason i wanna join hog is not because of the tag or the admin powers, iv spend a lot of time with the members and i enjoy playing with them and i thought its about time i join the family cos I see how dedicated the members are to the server to provide a great gaming experience for all players and I wanna be a part it, at this time it feels like the next step for me in PR since I have never been part of a Battlefield 2 clan.
