Ban Appeal

Was banned by IV.T Justice for saying I blame everything bad that happens in Texas because of the Mexican border crisis that effects my country.

Let's bring in a little bit of context into what you said and how you said it.

I was having a conversation with a friend in squad talk about something bad that happened around Houston and out of nowhere the first thing you ask is "Was it a Mexican?". He asks you how that is even relevant to what I was saying and you say that Houston has a big problem [with Mexicans]". We were still trying to figure out why the person's ethnicity even mattered, and apparently all of this was pretty hilarious to you.

Regardless, I let all of that go and pretended you hadn't said anything. My friend disconnects cause he was having issues, and I get invited to another squad. It seemed you kept the conversation going as one of the other squad mates in your squad types out to me in team chat implying if I'm a liberal. I come back to the squad and ask what the problem is? You bring up how liberals are always getting offended and I mentioned that that wasn't even the issue, seeing how I'm conservative. Again, you went on about Mexicans and finally say "Every time something bad happens in Houston, it's always a Mexican."

What you DIDN"T take into consideration was that this server has zero tolerance for racism. People have gotten banned for saying much less than you did and maybe without intending something to be racist. You on the other hand meant everything you said and those are your personal beliefs, all while finding it funny at the same time. Next time keep those racial and hateful views to yourself and don't think that just because someone is conservative they have to be racist as well. We don't need that kind of crap in this server.

Lets give some more context. "Every time something bad happens in Houston, it's always a Mexican." is not what I said. I said "I blame everything bad that happens in Houston right now because of the Mexicans". And yea I have plentiful data that could back my claims. I didn't use any derogatory statements when referring to Mexicans and I did not refer to Mexicans being less then. So I don't see how that's racist.

You really think that made it much better? It's basically a reiteration of what I said. You didn't have to use a derogatory term, your statements are almost a literal definition of what it means to be racist. You single out a specific group of people in one of the most diverse cities in the United States and blame them for everything bad happening while you laugh about it. Your tone the whole time was arrogant and condescending. And you don't even have the capacity to realize how bigoted and racist that is.

If it was up to me, I'd give you more than a month ban, but I'll leave it up to the head admins. I'm done with this conversation.

Should of said illegals. That's all I am willing to admit. Your not a higher authority on anything. Your a dude from Texas that is an admin on a PR server with less then 500 active players. You really I think I care what you think? Ill be back on.
