Ban Appeal

I found out I was banned from HOG due to being, paraphrased: "An accessory to the mass TK caused by someone else jumping in front of mortar". I read Glybd's ban appeal and the admins' reasons for banning him, as well as what they believe I had done when I reported that someone rammed the truck into the mortar emplacement. 

To clear it up from MY perspective: About a minute before the truck ran into the side of the mortar, I had assumed my entire squad was at the mortar location and we were all helping out doing our thing with mortars. I checked my map and we had around 5-8 players in my location so I assumed all was good. I will also state that I have two monitors and I tend to look at one or the other sometimes to work on things on the 2nd monitor. When the truck supposedly hit the mortar emplacement and I saw the mass TK on the top left of the screen, I had assumed that someone made a mistake by driving the truck and not stopping in time to drop supplies for our mortars. (I must clarify that I had NO idea who was in the truck or if someone ran in front of the mortar because in cases like these the TK-er can be mistaken for someone else.) When I reported the incident in squad chat, I was still under the assumption that someone, either from my squad or from the mortar squad that we had trouble with had rammed the mortar by accident because they couldn't stop in time. While reading Justice's reasoning for banning Glybd, it states that someone ran directly in front of the mortar which I do recall but I don't remember it killing us, as from my perspective, the truck ran into the side of the mortar and everybody died. Someone in our discord also said that a truck ran into the mortar and it made me more sure of myself because someone else supposedly witnessed it, hence why I sent that report in squad chat.

I can understand the criticism you have against myself and GG, however what I reported was strictly based on what I saw and heard, and everybody in the discord was confused and pissed as to what had happened. Yes we fuck around a lot and that's what we consider funny and enjoying, but we also enjoy playing seriously because it wins us the game. I can also understand Justice's, Righty's and Lespyd's perspectives and beliefs on what GG is and does, because we do tend to say things that you believe disrupt the game and are annoying. What happened was a mistake based on what I saw in-game, but to assume we're practically the devil because we make comments that we consider funny and that we're a bunch of sociopathic idiots because we "obviously misjudge or underestimate some of us as if we can't possibly think for yourselves" is goofy. I do apologize if I caused any confusion or anger, but the fact that I got banned is funny.

I haven't had issues with you as much as I've had issues with others in your clan. Glybd's response to my explanation of his ban is perfect. He summed up pretty well the type of player he is and even more so justifies his permanent ban from the server. So I'll never have any regrets there. A lot of things you guys say isn't just for laughs, at least not the way we see it. It might be funny to you, but when it disrupts the server and instigates or harasses other players, that's when we're going to step in and put an end to it. I hope Glybd's ban serves as an example, that whether you like us or hate us, we're going to enforce the rules so that others can play peacefully. That's not going to change for you guys or for anyone else. We understand that you guys like to play together and fool around sometimes, but it's not going to happen at the expense of others.

As far as your ban, the reason you were banned was because at the time this mass tk happened, battle recorder shows you right behind the mortar pit with a clear view of what happened. There were no vehicles near the mortar at the time of the incident. This leads us to believe that you had lied just like Glybd did in order to try and cover for him. You actually "!r" reported to us that a truck had gotten in the way. If you had been elsewhere, as in at the other side of the hill near the mortars, I understand how you could have heard the truck and assumed it had driven in front of the mortar pits. But your location was the determining factor on why you were banned. We didn't just ban you for the hell of it, we had a legitimate reason for doing so.

Nevertheless, I would recommend your ban to be lifted. I really do hope that you guys can play together in the server without anymore issues. Don't forget and keep this in mind, that just like some of you hate the admins, when other players are intentionally teamkilling yall, or stealing your assets, we're there to respond to the five or six reports we get at one time from you and your clanmates.

Hog hates non boomer clans and this is known. Idk why ur tryna act like a good guy. And I barely play PR so if I griefed that mortar pit intentionally I wouldn’t have appealed. Not surprised by the ban cuz you’ve been ban hunting me for about half a year. A good chunk of the people banned on ur server is clans and most of them are younger not a coincidence

And you don't think it's probably not a coincidence that if younger players are getting banned more it could possibly be due to their lack of maturity? If you act like a little kid and think rules don't apply to you, then you're going to get punished like a little kid. It's that simple. And don't flatter yourself...a six person mass tk isn't something so easy to ignore. If anything I had been very patient with you and some of your other clanmates. You have been under the radar of other admins as well, that's how much attention you guys draw to yourselves. So don't come in here playing the victim. If you got banned you brought it on yourself and it was a LONG time coming.

So save the "if I had done it intentionally I wouldn't have appealed" bs. It was clear as day that you jumped over the mortar tube to cause the teamkills. There was absolutely no reason for you to be jumping there to begin with. It's embarrassing and pathetic that you are sticking to that story.
