Ban Appeal for 1/19/2017 (Camping Enemy Main Base) was created by Ben Carmine
I tried to log-in today (1/20/2017) and it still said I was banned. I don't believe I've been kicked from HOG before or at least not in recent years, so an instant ban for a misunderstanding is a little harsh. I do however apologize for my actions and I will definitely follow the rules more closely in the future.

On 1/19/2017, Another player and I were kicked for camping the main base on Xiangshan (We were on the Chinese Forces) while in an AAV. I had waited for the trans heli to clear the French airspace before opening fire, my driver and I were located in A8kp4 at the time. I don't believe we killed that heli in particular, but we did shoot down a CAS heli RETURNING to base (it flew over us and was no where near their main).

Was not a TK. Since I shot at an enemy chopper.

Hi there,

I was the one who filed the report and the pilot of the trans heli you shot down, so I will add some details. It was not a tk, however you shot us in French main airspace. This can be confirmed in battlerecorder, specifically you can see the wreck in main base right in front of the heli pad as I was in process of landing from your initial fire right outside of main. Can you see why this may hinder fair gameplay and why the DOD/rule exists for reasons like this?

Like I said in my statement above, I was not aware that I had shot down your trans heli and I was aiming at it because I assumed you had cleared the airspace. Once again I would like to apologize for my actions and as aforementioned, I will attempt to follow the rules more closely.

I usually don't break server rules on any server, so this is a first and last time that it will be happening. However I will understand the admins decision to not lift my ban.
