ban appeals

hello I wanted to make an appeal to my ban from the HOG server for making a joke in a game, we were waiting for a helicopter to take off and I wrote in the local chat as a joke ,,,, lets fly with aeroniggas airlines ,,, but it was only A joke and my intentions were not to emphasize racism, I am not in favor of it, what happens is that I am not from the United States, (I am from Argentina) and I did not know that they were so sensitive about these jokes, so I ask so much if you can unban me because it is the only server I play on since the others do not have people and it will not happen again, my steam account is ludiego

And then what are the bans appeals for, I am claiming an appeal since it was an accident, understand that I am not from the United States, and also, why only people of color can use that term, I dont understand

The connotation of the word is racist. The word is constructed in cultural and historical manner.

Answer to your question why they use: they use it to claim identity as the word affected them negatively - and still does.

The word has been banned completely to remove the confusion as we do not care who is using it, african american or not, and thats why we dont allow anyone to use it.

Accident? I don't personally care if you have a tourette syndrome as the rule applies to everyone.

The ban system in my opinion is awesome, cause it keeps toxic people like you out. To each their own I guess - see you in a month.
