Battlefield One was created by =HOG=Haley11thACR
Battlefield 1 is out. Its a bit like Battlefield 4....but it has a hardcore mode that is much more realistic.

I recommend a few of u try it and give some feedback.

PR is dying and recently we have been unable to raise enough funds to keep the server going.

We can maybe carry it for another 2 months at the current rate of donations. But its the same 5 or 6 members donating every month...so that wont last long.

We need new blood if we plan on keeping HOG alive.

Currently Battlefield 1 has thousands of players we could recruit from.

Please try it and let me know what u think.

I'll be honest it's actually a good game. Unfortunately atm my PC cant stand up to the new age graphics but I say ARMA is probably the top contender for realism.

I think squad is in a pretty playable state now. Got vehicles, scopes, more detailed maps, better performance, compass. Not sure if theres proper squad markers yet though.

Arma is a decent game but it has a much different feel from PR. It also has a huge community though, and i imagine a more suiting community to what we look for if we target the right area of that community.

Basically it sorta depends on what we want:

More serious - Arma
More casual - BF1
Closest to PR - Squad

All in my humble opinion, that is :)
