I am once again left bewildered by your PR admin management abilities. Not with respects to your conduct towards trolls, no mic's SL's, free kit sdq's etc, in that regard you really help.
But then you go ahead a kick two players without comment or communication.
No, we weren't apc squad but we were mec inf and we were fighting the enemy that was over taking UN outpost. We killed two or three guys one that hill and our INF fought off the rest... but not before you failed to communicate your dislike for a minor action towards players that caused no stir within the overall team and presented an added asset to the defence of our cap flag objective.

I understand why you did it, I just think your approach on management and leadership sucks. An admin should do more than find reasons to boot players that actually play the game. You should guide and liaise with new or offending players and determine their intent or actions before passing ultimate judgement.

If I had the time I would gladly apply for the position and help represent the server.

You know the rules, you broke them anyway. If I had to talk with every player and find out their intensions, besides breaking the rules, use several minutes for each player to find out if he is new, then this would be a full time job.

You where reported for stealing an apc, and for ramming chopper.

Why do I need to hear as to why you chose to ignore the server rules? There is no rule about Mech inf. Try reading them and then follow them.

I don't want this to go round in circles but did you even investigate the apparent chopper ram? because it never happened.. not by us anyway. We killed an enemy chopper at UN outpost.. someone may have gotten confused.. your logs will prove your assumption incorrect.

Hang on a tick.. 'there is no rule about Mech Inf' ..what does this mean? our squad name wasn't Mech Inf' but we were doing it.. we even spoke to the one person in APC squad and agreed that we'd take the BTR..

So then maybe trying spending at least 60 seconds on the local and regular players to determine their intent.. understandable approach to newbs although im still not a fan as they receive next to no training apart from in-game and are probably left feeling pretty shit after their banned with no explanation apart from 'read the rules..'

I don't know man.. i just think a bit more guidance and communication would go a long way.

PS.. when was the last time HOG ran an open training server or training event? Its becoming increasingly more difficult to be training in-game as the new player influx has peaked again.. (or so it feels anyway). Can you shed some light on any plans to support the new player base?

Your saying that that the guy who reported you for stealing is not the same guy who had the APC sqd? If you were given permission to take the btr from the apc sqd, then its an entirely different situation.

As to ramming chopper, most of the time we rely on reports, if I had to investigate, and not rely on players who often lie because they dont like X player.....
First I have to wait for the round to end, then find the correct BR file. Then I have to switch the Weapons.zip file in the PR folder because of some bug before BR can be played, and I have to restart the game. Then finally, i can spend about an hour or so watching the game unfold on 300% to find out if the report was false..Then replace the weapons.zip file, restart the game and then rejoin the game around 1-2 hours later....

And that I can do for each !r i get ingame......

I Misunderstood your "Mech inf" but 70% of the time we encounter someone stealing an apc this is how the conversation goes:

Players leave and ditch the apc in the middle of nowhere.

Not to mention that I might have to switch sides during my game, perhaps even during a firefight or while using an aset myself, wait a minute before I can respawn, join apc to ask if they gave permission for mech inf to take apc, because before I switched I asked who was apc sqd, but got no answer so I had to switch - talk to apc sqd, join mech inf sqd, tell them to return the asset - be called a abusive admin and a fucktard, only to see stolen apc ditched, switch back and find out my spot in previous sqd has been taken.

Thrust me. Guidance and communication is a two way street, and its closed in the 90% of the times.

There is a reason we dont warn, we learned that it does nothing.

As to players being regular, does not make any difference.

He was warned. Instead he chose to argue, and then continue to break the rules. He even went so far as to use the time to go to the realitymod forum and make the above post, instead of actually reading the rules which I told him to do.

I retract my previous comment about applying to be an admin If I had the time.. having to deal with what you've showed me no longer presents any appeal lol

Given what you've illustrated here I now have a better understanding of the shit you have to put up with and don't envy the thought of having to sort out disputes mid-game or post game.

Dear anyone who will read this and forgive for what I have commited!

Once this request was accepted and I got unban a two or a few weeks ago and now I am banned again while I didn't do anything.
I did everything to prevent making any reason for an admin to ban me, followed and almost memorized all the rules but I am banned again, I do not know how, when and why so I am certain got the ban after I left the server.

I remember once I told an admin that I will report him after I got my unban because an admin resigned me from my squad at the beggining of the game so someone else took my squadleader, then I started discussing with him but because I can't do it in reports made in every second I had to talk to him in all chat because he was an the other side.

After that he warned me for chat spamming but as far as I know, spamming doesn't means writing long sentences so simply conversation, then I told him after the warn that I will report him because I had enough of that admins can do whatever they want wherever they want and no one draws them accountable, no one condemns what they do, no one judge them or no one can do any of these so I told him I won't start discussing because the admin is always right so its senseless and It would only cause my ban from the server so I will be back and play here again when that admin is not here anymore or not playing on the server.

Now I know I was wrong and I recognize a huge mistake I have done that I was threatening an admin with report and I thought that anything he does would be wrong. I know I am only a player and I don't have the right, intelligence and rank to do something like that was.

I apologise to that admin for I wanted to report him, all the admins are equal to God that from this moment I will keep in my mind, whatever they say is true, whatever they do is right and player will be always just one of the many, they do not have the priviliges to report an admin or just think that an admin would do something not right because that would be unbeliveable and unacceptable.

At least this server is still better than an another one because admins not always ban you for no reason, only sometimes when one of them don't like you or is in a bad mood or just wants to play and do not want to deal your little stupid problems.
If the greatest among you would be gracious to me and would let me play on this amazing server again, then I swear not now because I don't have enough money at the moment but in two weeks I will buy a big external hard drive and record all my playtime on the server and store it for at least two months, so when I will need I will have evidence to prove my innocence.


My only problem sometimes that when one of you wants to ban or kick me I can't say anything because I could only say anything in the all chat but It constitutes chat-spamming what means immediate ban what I do not want ever again, so It is only a suggestion that this rule should be changed and I also suggest to change the page of the wiki which describes the definition of spamming so then no one should ever make this mistake and break this rule again.
