BenjaminRoss: Ban Appeal

Hey guys,

I just got banned about 20 min ago (2-26-17 @ approx. 3:00am EST) on Muttrah City for using an LAV without the required number of people in the server.

I did not intentionally break the rules and would have gladly exited the vehicle if I realized I was, I just got caught up in the game. I spawned at the docks during a very long game with different amounts of players (sometimes enough, and sometimes not) and saw the LAV and noticed there was no APC squad. I jumped in and was soon banned :[[

I'm sorry if my actions caused any lapse in gameplay or took game-time away from any admins or other players. Hopefully we can get this sorted so I can get back in the action with you guys!

Banning admin here. Rules on forums are quite the well warning. It was 13v13 for quite awhile and slowly slipping below that. We were obviously trying to seed the server, and you decided it was a smart idea to take a heavy asset out. Ban stays for a week.

It really sucks to hear that, it was not my intention at all to break the rules. I did not enter the LAV thinking that it was a game changing idea, I just saw an available transport and used it. The squad I was leading had taken out 3 enemy APCs that round, so it didn't even cross my mind to check the player count at the time.

I made a mistake and have no problem paying for it (do the crime, do the time), but I want to make it clear to you that it was indeed a mistake. But as far as servers go; you guys, Hardcore, and Free Candy Van (if you can call fcv a real server) are all we have. If there is any way you could give me another chance, I will make sure to be more aware of what's going on in the server.

Alright, that is understandable.

In a sense i was strict with the ban. And realizing this i will do better as a member of the admin team to handle situations with better consideration. Just please mindful that 15v15 is really a turning point for when a server gets seeded. And the way you handled your ban appeal i sense that you will be more mindful in the future regarding things like this.

I will agree with an unban.
