ban appeal

So i totally blew up two jets. The stories you will read from the log say i did it because i was angry they wouldn't let me fly. Those stories are wrong. What happened is that I was in a cas squad and the squad lead (can't remember his name) was in a previous game being a complete idiot so i thought "fuck this guy, i'm in the squad and it's my turn to fly" he started complaining as I got in and I ignored him. Was I technically stealing assets? Yes.

This is where the story deviates from what was reported. The reported and the logical conclusion were that I got pissed off, threw a temper tantrum and drove my jet into the other jet in an act of spite.

The reality is that i'm a fucking idiot and my joystick throttle was at 100% and i had forgot to reset it to zero. As i pushed forward on the stick the jet careened forward and i quickly scrambled for the throttle to set it to zero but it was too late.

I alt-f4ed out of pure shame because i felt like an idiot and i knew no one would believe me. Then i lied and said I CTD cause i figured that was less shameful then telling them I forgot to put my throttle down.

As I am looking at my joystick while i'm writing this i realize that again i have it set at 100%, hopefully i won't make that mistake again.

I assure you, I realize the value of CAS and any asset for that matter. I also know that a good way to get banned is to blow up an asset. While i might get stupid and steal and asset from a moron every now and then, I would absolutely never intentionally destroy assets because I didn't get my way. Thats fucked up.
