somebody sent me an area attack request and I admitted it in the near end of the game, after all I said that the temp ban was thrown .. but when I entered the game today it showed a warning that the ban was thrown.

temp ban is an adequate punishment why did i get ban for this reason.

This banning of MetaFighter was ultimately because of my actions.

We were on Operation Barracuda and our team (US) was getting beaten pretty badly, basically to the point where we were withdrawn to the main carrier.

We had sub 30 tickets left over, round was slowly drawing to the end.

As a finality we has a couple of people on the carrier deck asking if we should put an area attack down in the water to the east of the US carrier. I asked MetaFighter to apply commander and called the Area Attack.

This is all that happened, and I am assuming OldTread was on the Rcon and saw this as trolling and issued Meta the ban. Usually a temp ban would be the standard (again, only assuming this) however as I have come to understand this was a Permanent Ban.

I feel this was done in error as I should take the blame for this. If you would like to ban me instead of MetaFighter, this would be more reasonable. I won't claim to know your administration procedures or anything, MetaFighter is a good player and a nice guy.

Ultimately however, I will leave these decisions to you, whatever the outcome.
