Ban Appeal - Unintentional TK

Hi Folks,

I was a squadleader on the Muttrah map - I had put down mortars, when a mortar squad politely requested that I delete them.

For some strange reason the officer's 'remove assets' function refused to work - so as a last resort (after almost 5 minutes of trying to delete them) I decided to blow them up (given the normal method did not work). I had given my squad and everyone else ample warning to keep out of the way as c4 had been planted. I even kept repeating it until it blew up.

Stupidly - two people decided to walk up to the mortars right after I had warned them to keep away - and were blown up.

Obviously, I did not intend to team kill - and they got themselves blown up through sheer ignorance

Immediately after the accident - i typed a message saying "You were warned..." followed by being immediately auto kicked.

As such, I kindly request to be unbanned/kicked as it was totally unintentional.

I see no problem with the unban, althought there seemed to be a misunderstanding since you put the C4 on the FOB which killed a FOB early on in the game, which could hinder gameplay and movement of people. From the looks of it though it seemed like it was random and you were just killing fobs with C4 as people do actually do that.

People called it out in local that you just did it randomly as well. Maybe they didn't hear you.

Hopefully this won't be a terrible inconvenience for you and I hope to see you on the server again,

P.S. The way to delete mortars as a squad leader is to actually look at them and use the comma rose. you have to be within a certain range as well. This way you don't have to use explosives or thing that make it seem intentional.

The removal of the fob was not intentional - but I did tell people to get out of the way as C4 was on the mortar - in hindsight, the fob was probably closer than I thought. The usual comm rose delete tool was glitched and didn't work for me. C4 was a last resort.
