Ban appeal

Hi there,

I was banned last night on Muttrah for killing the Cobra at docks. I was gunning a BTR that we had decided to take into the water when we heard that the Cobra was RTB. Pushing a bit north, hoping to catch him unaware while flying back, I saw that he actually landed at docks. I had a lapse in judgement and forgot that this server has muttrah-specific rules that consider docks to be a main, and decided to engage it.

I've played this game for quite a while, and cannot remember the last time I've had admin actions taken against me, so a perma over this one incident seems a bit excessive personally.

Hi, I was the banning admin. I will support your unban as long as you can provide me with a short break down of why you think we have that rule.

I would say it's to protect the vehicles that spawn/repair there, but neither of those apply to this situation so I'm not sure if you're looking for a different answer.

But that is why it applies here. As i was the gunner of that cobra and jumped out to drop repair stations. you also killed a huey. So what do you mean that doesn't reply here I'm confused on what you are getting at. I just want you to understand that is the reason we don't allow attacks on repair station until you have captured docks. because things repair and spawn there.

Neither of those vehicles spawn or repair there though. I don't see how dropping a repair from a logi at docks is different from doing the same anywhere else in the map.

This rule is pretty simple, and it is to protect any asset at repair station. the reason we have this rule is because we would not be able to attack your repair station and we wouldn't do it unless there was an AAS marker on it. These rules are specific to keep people from attacking repair stations. I understand your point but in all honesty we have those rules to keep people from attacking and destroying any asset at a repair station. This is why you can not build mortars at a repair station, and this is the reason you can not build mortars in the DOD on mec side. Because we consider these points unattackable until the last flag is in the hands of the enemy. This is why we have this rule on our server. I will say you can be unbanned but please don't attack repair stations on muttrah on our server, You were an admin on PRTA so you should understand how we have to make the decisions we do.
