What's your in-game name and hash key?
Without either, it's hard to find out why you were banned.

But by the sound of it, it was probably a 4-hour temp ban for stealing assets.

I know they can seem quite complex and long, but the rules are there so that everyone can play smoothly without having issues with each other.

In this case, the relevant rule is:
3.3 All heavy assets are squad-specific. The first correctly named squad gets the asset.

So all heavy assets like tanks, APCs, CAS helicopters/jets, and transport helicopters must be used by people who create specifically named squads for them ("Tank" squad, "CAS" squad, etc.).
If you're not in one of these squads and take heavy assets, then that is considered asset stealing and will result in kick/ban.

If you're new, I recommend going to a co-op server or a training server to practice using tanks/APCs and flying jets, etc.
