need a clarification

i was just wondering why did i get temp banned for killing the kiowa on khami like 2days ago this is not a ban appeal. If u check tracker we were not trying to kill him were just passing by and heading for the 2 tanks on M column and out of nowhere my driver (resilient) saw the kiowa shooting on their dod i think it was like 400 300 alt and starting shooting at us i have no choice but to kill him we were 1 grid of the dod like behind the mountains and just about to pass J12 the rules said the cas cannot be killed by anyform of AA handheld,aav,stationary aa and can be only killed by another cas if so, so i thought i didnt break anyrule i just need a clarification from other admins

You answered your own question. Aircraft can only be killed by other aircraft in DOD, not by any ground vehicles or infantry. You were in a BMP3. You probably should not have been driving literally right at the line of DOD in view of enemy CAS taking off from their main.You were NOT one grid away from DOD. What did you think was going to happen? The rules are pretty clear: "You are PROHIBITED from attacking any AIR vehicle with a surface-to-air, or land-based weapon/vehicle in DOD."
