Rowdy555's ban appeal

I was playing on the HOG PR server with a buddy (Hagglenaut is his in-game name).
I didn't read through the rules properly and didn't see that I needed to set my squad name as "APC SQUAD/TEAM" etc if I were using vehicles.
There were 3 or so BTRs on the Grozny map and I took one with a friend (Not naming my squad properly) and was doing okay wasn't breaking any other rules.
Then an Admin typed in chat something along the lines of "RETURN BTR TO BASE 10 SECONDS TO COMPLY" and at that moment our wheels were shot out by an RPG, so I didn't know what to do, and just got perma-banned right then and there. 
I feel like a kick with a message saying "asset theft read rules" would have been far more effective in this case, because I legit just didn't know I was breaking rules, and won't in future if I am to be unbanned.

If I am to be unbanned, I request that my pal Hagglenaut also be unbanned, as he is an old returning player and was just following me and he shouldn't be banned because I failed to name a squad.
