FYI 2IC, I did not falsely report another player for slamming the Osprey on the enemy carrier, it was somebody from your colleagues or perhaps you who made a misjudgment on that and banned an innocent person.

On the other hand I didn't harm anyone, I was flying trans (no asset steal), the map was over.

Was it morally wrong? Yes.
Am I sorry? No.

I wished for a perm ban because I don't want to take part of this server anymore.
Some of new HOG admins are simply not qualified for their role, and are heavily biased towards their friends on the server.

It was me that banned both you and the other guy.

The other guy was an idiot for answering "me" when I asked everyone who flew the Osprey to the enemy main and crashed it there. And a bigger idiot for being non-responsive when I tried to confirm it was indeed him.
He was unbanned 20 minutes later after I confirmed through trackers that it was you who did it.

You were there the whole time and were acting like all of this was news to you in the chat, even saying "finally" when the other guy was banned.

You may not have reported him falsely, you basically let someone else take the fall for your trolling.

"DO NOT UNBAN" in the ban message was mostly for other admins to see, in case you appeal, so that I can deal with you personally and impress upon you that crashing your helicopter into enemy main is not okay.

But if you feel that you don't want an unban, that's fine with me.

Well yes, Saba did some things along with his friends Max and some other guy, days before the incident that was damaging to me and other players in-game.

I am fully aware that crashing a helicopter in enemy is beyond fine, but it was a product of resentment towards some admins during daytime CET games.

When I report people for tk, troll, using assets without practice, most of the time admins don't do anything about it and act all ignorant (usually the admins that seem new to me, or I didn't see them commonly).

When I accidentally tk someone or sit in F2 seat unclaimable vehicle and get kicked immediately without warning because some friend of the admin is in the first seat, and then the admins argue if that vehicle is claimable, the only reaction would be resentment and cynicism.

I am in no place of judging admins, especially after my actions, but that to me, is discriminatory. This was also noticed by my friends who also play on HOG.

(Mind you, this happens only during my daytime play, which is usually the time I get kicked, and banned like the time beforehand, my history of playing is clean during my nighttime play - I'm on CET.)

I will take a few months of cooldown then return and apologize.
Thanks for replying.
Best regards.

What you did was serious enough for me to ban you to make you come to the forum, but it's not serious enough to warrant a permanent ban.
So you are free to appeal again whenever you feel you are ready.

On the issue of admin bias, I assure you that favoritism by admins towards certain players is not condoned by HOG. That was the downfall of my PR servers that came before us.
I am normally on PRISM watching the server throughout the day, from the Asia-Pacific evening hours to CET evening hours.
And I can say that if I spot favoritism being shown by admins, I will react and correct. But that has been unnecessary since it rarely if ever happens.
Throughout the years, there have been multiple HOG admins who have been kicked off the admin team due to this kind of behavior and other unacceptable behaviors.

If admins do not react to some reports quickly or at all while reacting to other reports, it may feel like selective admining and favoritism.
But this is not case.
When admins are also playing in-game, they sometimes do not notice reports coming in or forget to react.
And when only PRISM admins are online, we are usually doing other things while also watching the server, so we can't react immediately.
And a lot of times, what players think/feel like is rule violation is actually not a rule violation. So these reports would often get ignored.

I know it can be frustrating when your report doesn't get a response.
I was just a regular player before, and I felt that frustration too.
But know that there are reasons why not all reports get answered immediately.

I don't expect you to agree with my assessment 100%, but what I suggest is that you try to observe the behavior of admins more closely and for long periods at a time.

I will try to be less cynical and more observant as you proposed, and I am aware that we are all human and make mistakes.
Thanks for the advice, I've read it all.

When you allow, I would like to be unbanned and reconnect with some friends.
No more misconduct.

Best Regards,
Pyth0n
