There's no racism here. See, racism...as practiced and defined today...is a reaction to fear. I.e. fear of other races/ethnicities, etc. As a Christian, I'm commanded, and volunteer to see all of humanity as God's children and equal in their standing with God. To do otherwise is to stand in defiance of God. What this means is I fear no man of any ethnicity. But, I do fear God's judgement of the choices I make in the sight of God. Therefore, no fear equal no racism, dig? But, in your actions I see fear. Fear and racism are like conjoined twins...one cannot exist without the other. So, this Christian holiday season I will pray that you find enough quiet from this cacophonous existence we call life to listen for that still voice inside all of us called God. And, on the other side, I look forward to standing with you, my brother in Christ, utterly fearless.
