Banned for TKing (rightfully)

I shot our own heli with a stinger, I'm still new to the game so I didn't think the stinger would fire without lock on because in every other game I've played you need a lock to fire a stinger so I just pointed it at the heli and left clicked and the rest is history. I understand why I got banned but at the same time I really want to be unbanned because its my first offence and I promise I won't make that mistake again
