I had to pilot Mi24 (I didn't intend to) when the initial pilot got disconnected. An enemy FOB was reported, I tried to be useful/helpful and plotted a rocket run after putting down a marker. I intended to use a road to guide me in on the target, but on this particular map, range of sight, fog and trees make it unusually hard so see the ground features. That was unexpected and I was struggling for the fraction of a second - that's when the excessive dive developed that I almost recovered from, but eventually failed to, falling short by about 3 feet, meh. Then I got banned, rightfully so, I guess, as I had violated rule 3.10 apparently. However, as a consequence I heeded the advice and took some time off to hone my piloting skills and brush up on helicopter attack runs in Co-Op again. I would pay much more attention not to lose important assets in such a stupid way in the future. Sorry for causing trouble and depriving the team of necessary air support by using the Mi24 incorrectly. I will think twice from now on and after having conducted comprehensive training with all necessary lessons learned, I politely ask to be unbanned so I can return to the server and play more infantry focused for the time being, I suppose.
