Confused on ban?

I don't catch any names this occurred with...

Just a few minutes ago I got in at the beginning of a match. Someone started talking about politics and I said this is a game server, people don't want to talk about politics they want to play games. The other player started talking about politics again at the beginning of the match and I said louder we are here to play games not talk about politics. Then someone with an older and deeper voice then mine said, and I'm quoting here "we don't need no hippy fagot potsmokers hangin around here", or something close to that affect. I laughed a little at the guys ignorance then another gamer said he smokes. I said that some people don't like that. Then the player with the deep rough voice said something close to his first statement.

My brother is homosexual, and I love him very much, so much that I don't use the word toward anyone, or even use it loosely except for when I have to make a quote or explain what someone said. So when the player with the deeper voice started saying derogatory remarks about gays and pot smokers I started blowing into the mic so I wouldn't hear it, which was a bit immature of me. I can understand a ban for blowing in the mic!

Then I get kicked for either player slot, team killing, inappropriate language, and some others I did not catch. then when i tried to log back in it said I was "banned for excessive team killing". The match had not started yet, it was still in pre-game?

I apologize for being loud and blowing in the mic. It will not happen again if allowed back.
