@MajorDump I had the same issues. Unfortunately the devs are unwilling to create a new hash for someone so what Haley said is the only way to do it.
It's not that the devs are unwilling, it's just that's not how a hash works. Nobody is "given" a hash by the devs.
semantics. The devs built the hash generator, the devs control the hash generator, the hashes are therefor given out by something they made.
One thing we know for sure, it is NOT something we are doing wrong.

That's not how a hash works. Honestly I can't even understand why anyone who is involved in running a pr server would think that. The hash is tied to the system, and gives the same output for the same input, and the dev team can't change a person's hash without changing everyone's.
Sadly since PR can't sell CD keys it's stuck with this, and there are limitations to the method.
You can also easily get around this with a script posted in the SA forums, over a month ago. Super even commented in the thread... Saying you cannot do anything for players with these hashes is simply false.

Apparently the script has problems. One being the need for a secondary ban list.
Lately Im just lifting the bans, see Dante, MajorDump, Appless...ban appeals.
As far as getting new hashes goes we thought just as u do until a player got a new hash unconventionally. Maybe there is something we have wrong in our understanding. I will get Googleboy to comment, he should know.

there is some way to do it. Honestly, i cannot understand someone in your position that cannot read the thread that shows matts fixing googleboys hash and literally saying he will not do it for anyone else. But hey, we are stupid server admins...
