My computer crashed over the weekend. Anyone here got any insight?
Basically i was loading a game and got a fatal error where my computer froze. I have been getting these a lot actually since i installed windows 10. I just now got myself up and running again and haven't got to reinstalling most games yet. Luckily most of my games are installed on a different hard drive. Either way. after i got a fatal error i had to manually turn my computer off. And when i went to reboot again, apparently bios couldn't boot windows 10. I have since then reformatted both my SSDs and got windows 10 to reinstall finally. But while i was trying to do this, when my bios screen was loading i had 2 artifact lines run down vertically on my screen. Could this be an indication that my GPU is failing, or my motherboard? But i couldn't even repair windows 10. it was like the whole windows 10 install did not exist after the first fatal error.

it can be caused from missing windows files,or because of gpu failure, most likely a windows failure.
try reinstalling windows 10 but different version Etc : Home Premium,Pro.. or try downgrading to maybe win 8 or 7,It's hard and pain in the ass to format your PC but it's a good way to find out what causing the problem

Well i already formatted before i posted this. I have a decent internet speed and installing on an SSD really helps, also having most of my programs on a different drive other than my OS helped a lot. and i will have to get specs for ya. Although temps could be a problem but i doubt it. But if i could find a good copy of windows 7, i would totally go back to it. 10 is nice for some things, but 7 is something i can run easily and not have any problems.
