Help the Fart pick a new PC gaming rig

interesting...but, just so you know, I'm not concerned about cost. Rather, the rig I'm on now is approaching it's 11th birthday...i'm more concerned about catastropic failure and having to start all over. Wondering, can I use a hot rod gaming PC to crytomine in times when I'm not gaming?

A few things, if you are backing up important stuff then catastrophic failure isn't really an issue, everyone should be backing stuff up.

When you say you aren't concerned about cost, what do you mean? What is your budget?

As for crypto, you could but I am not sure you would make money back after paying for the electricity.
