I think you may have misunderstood. My very point is that because I can not decide for another player what websites they choose to visit, they are not thereby "compelled" to visit a website, just because some guy in computer game land is using the site as his name.

As for keeping things simple, I agree: Unless there is a good reason to ban something, then don't ban it.

No other server bans people for using website names (I play on all other servers just fine), and I don't see those servers overrun with a spate of people causing problems by using website names. In fact, after several years, I think mine is still the only one I have seen!

I fear the point is being missed here. If there was enough room in the clan tag box, then imagine instead of "visit", I had the phrase "hey everyone, whatever happens, you absolutely must visit...". STILL it would be up to individual players whether they wanted to visit that site or not (I imagine most would not). NOTHING I can add to, or remove from, my clan tag makes any difference to this argument.

Please note my underlines. I said website. If something is not a url, then it can not be a website, surely.
