I've played PR for 3 or 4 years on HOG. I once took a 3 month ban once for TKing someone whom I thought stole my kit back in 2015? I took it and then acted properly until a couple months ago, when I was randomly kicked by an admin when I did something not to his liking on a trans mission for him (while he was a SL). I felt it was unfair - he said that since he had to call up the record to look, he'd ban me as a result. I honestly had never been kicked for not meeting a squad leader's expectations - that was a new experience for me. I was insulted and I used a lot of insulting words at that point on the forum - a lot. I really had no idea that questioning a kick was a warrant for getting a ban. If I had known, I never would have even asked - there is no published guideline stating that questioning a kick risks a ban.

I acknowledge that you shouldn't cross a HOG admin either in their role as an admin or as a fellow player. I'm asking for mercy and that you please reinstate me. FCV doesn't really exist anymore and your monopoly hold on English servers means that a ban from HOG means effectively a ban from playing the game.

I had good experiences with HOG admins who liked me. There are also a lot of players who enjoyed my presence. I'm not a troll and I don't disrupt games. I don't know what your records reveal, but you'll see that I have been on HOG servers A LOT. I have proven the ability to correct my behavior in the past and am asking to be let back on.

Again - I had never been subject to a no-warning kick for not meeting operational goals of a squad leader who happened to be an admin. I felt it was inappropriate and reacted poorly, but I now realize that it doesn't f****** matter what I think since it is your server.

Thanks for hearing my plea.

U were banned for lying to the admin, then agreeing to be punished if the video showed that the admin was telling the truth. Then u denied the video was showing the truth...name called, and ranted about how the video was not evidence even though u claimed before the video that u were never locked as soon as the video came out u claimed u were locked so u waved off...U have a problem with the truth.

All u had to do was move on...then u decided to come to the forums and claim u had been mistreated by an abusive admin...then u could not admit what the video clearly showed...it was only a kick....but then u made a big show of it and the video, despite your claims it showed exactly what I said it showed...

Then u go on and on, only to show up now and ask for a ban lift, u go on about HOG admins etc, as if you did not bring this on yourself.

All we ask is for banned players to admit doing what they did, read the rules and stop doing what got them banned.

We try to treat all players the same and strive to be fair.

You just seem particularly obtuse, not sure why...

Hi Haley,

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I am hoping that after letting time pass, you will be willing to review the matter with some objectivity or at least grant me some mercy.

I admit what I did. I have read the rules. I am not going to keep doing what got me banned.

That said, I need to explain myself because my main error was the way I approached the matter the first time around. I looked at the tape again and it seems to me that there must have been miscommunication during the mission. It's embarrassing to me that I would miss picking up your whole squad - there must have been a comms problem on my end. Being suddenly kicked with no warning either from admin or from my squad lead is something that upset me and I reacted poorly on the forum - I admit that. I understand now that an unwarned kick is perfectly acceptable admin behavior. In the future, I will not take such a thing to the forum.

That the incident went from me disbelieving you (likely because I didn't recall the details and, as I've said reviewing the tape, perhaps had no comms) to you accusing me of being a liar and declaring that you'll get the BR and ban me for lying was, to me, a serious escalation. I was just trying to confront someone I thought inappropriately kicked me with no warning. However, as I've said, I now understand that your kick was justified. I should not have responded so disrespectfully.

I'm not trying to insult you, just explain myself. You state:

"Then u go on and on, only to show up now and ask for a ban lift, u go on about HOG admins etc, as if you did not bring this on yourself."

I don't know what you mean by "go on and on". I stayed away from all of this for a long time. I am indeed showing up asking for a ban lift. I do not "go on about HOG admins" - I explained why I reacted the way I did to one admin kicking me, and that was very clear. I did not know that challenging a kick would result in a ban. I did not know that relying (poorly) on my memory of an incident would constitute "lying". You said that I acted "as if did not bring this on [myself]." However, I have admitted that I brought this on myself in full - by coming onto the forum the way I did, challenging the kick with my braggy (and incorrect) account of what I thought happened, calling into question your decision making, and then spiraling into invectives and curses when you banned me.

The reason I probably seem obtuse to you is that we are misunderstanding each other. I didn't know why I was kicked and it upset me. I approached the issue poorly and you seem to have reacted like I was an affirmative liar trying to cause trouble. That mixed with me being a bristly fellow as well as the fact that I didn't know you're the #1 player obviously led to a major f*** up on my part. I'm asking for another chance and to show you that I am a good member of this community, which I am.

Also - I will never bother you again with forum posts if you unban me :D

Respectfully,

UPGRAYEDD
