Then yes, rules were broken. Inf is at no time allowed at Fortress flag unless its capable.
The rules are clear.
Do not enter into fort as infantry unless the attack flag is on it
Rules or war...we dont have any, so that does not matter, the server rules do matter.
Running through..passing through....its the same, you are at the fortress flag. Its a nogo.

But here is where map knowledge comes in hand. Where they were technically was not in the fort flag cap area. But the only problem is that on the road by the quad is so near their main. That is the only problem.

And then we are back at the rule set we discussed with the apc soloing.
Its allowed to pass through fortress, if you walk a very specific path...and again, then you have to walk near MEC main exit, and what happens when some one comming out of main and stars shooting, or just stops, zooms in and is about to open fire? The average player would shoot before he get engaged - and tada... we have baserape.
Again the rules are clear:
IF mortars are built in fortress USMC is allowed to eliminate the threat if fired upon by means of CAS Huey, COBRA or mortars under no circumstances is any USMC infantry allowed to enter or be near fortress until AAS marker indicates to do so.

While I deeply appreciate your pre-emptive vote of competence you might be surprised to know what I don't know. Being married to a now-retired judge (aka: Mr's Dogfart) I've seen first hand the consequences of those who violate the law and those who violate the spirit of the law. My intent, relative to the posted question today and those to come, is to seek clarity and conformance to both letter and spirit. It is not lost on me, however, that some might percieve my queries as an attempt to circumvent the rules. Please know that the polar opposite will always be true. On a related note, some could effectively argue, "Well, it's just a game...what's the big deal?" This is not the way I see it. Rather, =HOG= members have invited me to share their brand and all it stands for realitive to all the things we collectively spend our free time on. In other words, the invitation says, "We trust you". That's not a gaming thing...it's a human thing and means a lot to me on a personal level. Know that your collective trust is not misplaced.

I'm not in disagreement on this. I am just trying to better grasp the situation. But yes it would be best to just avoid coming in from that direction. Hey super do have the old map that showed the do not go zones on the old forums? Heck does anyone have a link to the old forums?
