Why did you look up how to hide cheats, are you cheating?

He is right, recorded gameplay footage is a bit tainted and by no means waterproof, since one can just use a cheat overlay and set one's recording software to only record the game but not the cheat overlay.

But gameplay footage with some kind of adjacent text commentary or post explaining the gameplay and highlighting certain moments is still useful in explaining and showcasing stuff one thinks people don't get or understand about one's playstyle. Just don't say though that it is absolute proof that at the time of the recording one didn't cheat, because it really isn't at all.
